Entry
Our curriculum is very simple and designed around kids learning to rally faster through active and engaging drills and games. The Entry level classes are not super technical, but designed for kids to learn basic tennis skills and athletic competencies, and most importantly, have fun playing this sport. If your child has not played in a group lesson for a full year, this is where we recommend to start. Our program is based on children experiencing success first, then adding challenges. No experience nor equipment is necessary.
Intermediate
Intermediate Level classes are for kids that have demonstrated proficiency in tennis specific skills and are just about ready, or ready for competition. These players have been playing weekly for over a year in a group lesson setting, and/or is approved by an Empire Tennis Academy Program Director. Players in these classes will be challenged mentally and physically. As they progress with age and skill, more technical and tactical themes are introduced so they can learn how to address the challenges they will face in match-play situations. All Intermediate level players in our program are expected to compete in either United States Tennis Association (USTA) or Universal Tennis Ratings (UTR) match play to test the skills they are learning in class. It offers year round inexpensive match play opportunities for kids 11 & older, or kids already competing in USTA Green ball match play events.
Advanced
Advanced level classes are for players who have displayed successful results in competition and have proven they are able to perform at a high level under the pressures of match-play. These players have multiple years of experience in the sport and practice and compete consistently both within our walls and in events throughout the area. At this level, they learn the physical, mental, and technical skills necessary to begin playing and winning more frequently. All players in Advanced level classes have been reviewed and approved by an Empire Tennis Academy Program Director.

Spring Break Camp
Empire Tennis has weekly tennis camps at the Harley School when there is no school in session. This includes three indoor tennis courts, five outdoor courts, soccer fields, playgrounds, and an indoor pool (during the summer only) at our disposal. Empire camps cater to all levels of players - from beginners to advanced, five to 17.You can schedule half days, full days, evenings, or weekends! Students are grouped according to both age and playing level.

Summer Academy
Empire Tennis offers weekly tennis classes at the Harley School, including three indoor tennis courts, five outdoor courts, soccer fields, playgrounds, and an indoor pool at its disposal. Students are grouped according to both age and playing level. Typical camp is 90 minutes of tennis, break, an hour of various situational games.
