The Empire Tennis Academy, situated in Rochester NY, is under the direction of Jason Speirs, a product of the legendary Dave Strebel Tennis Academy, and a graduate of the prestigious Harley School. Jason honed his tennis instructional and administrative expertise at New York City's esteemed Roosevelt Island Racquet Club, ultimately earning the position of Director of Tennis. After 12 years, he returned home to Rochester to continue the rich legacy established by Dave Strebel, a Rochester Tennis Hall of Famer.
Headquartered out of the Harley School, the Empire Tennis Academy is dedicated to enhancing your tennis skills, building your confidence, maintaining your physical fitness, and fostering enduring friendships and connections with fellow players. Our programs cater to both Juniors and Adults and are offered at various convenient times. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned player, we have the ideal class for you! When we are not offering group lessons, our coaches can work with you 1-on-1 and focus on any of your tennis needs.
Junior Programs
Our Junior Program is among the best in Rochester! With days and times for all sizes and levels, our goal is to get kids rallying faster through active and engaging drills, games, and various point play situations. Our staff creates a fun atmosphere and encourages learning at all levels by using courts and equipment suitable for your child’s age and level.
Adult Programs
Empire Tennis Academy offers a full service Adult Tennis Program catering to all levels of players. Our programs for all those over 18 years of age include singles and doubles instructional classes, Stroke of the Week, Cardio Tennis, Special Events, a Singles League, and Tournaments. We have what you are looking for! Come learn and have some fun with our USPTA certified coaches. Meet new friends in Rochester and enjoy either the social or competitive aspect of tennis with us! In addition to Tournaments and Junior and Adult group lessons, Empire Tennis Academy also offers the option to book court time and private lessons. Please note: You will not be able to book within 24hrs through Court Reserve. You must email Diana Toia for such last minute reservations.
